AI Interviews
Napplied vs Metaview
Different bets. Metaview accelerates work recruiters already do. Napplied runs a structured AI interview against the same criteria for every candidate and leaves a reviewable trail.
How to choose
Why Napplied
Choose Napplied if
Metaview bills per user, and that licence renews whether this quarter’s roles close. Napplied stays on usage or a base subscription, so the price follows the hiring plan rather than every seat.
- You want the structured first round to be the same for every candidate, with a trail behind the ranking.
- You hire in AI, cybersecurity, AI-safety, or AI-governance.
Choose Metaview if
- You want every interview to stay human-led, and you mostly need better notes, faster screening, sourcing, or agent-led outreach and scheduling.
- You want published tiers, free entry points, and named-customer case studies you can read before a sales call.
Use both if
- Keep human final-loop interviews, and use Napplied for the structured early rounds. Ask us how that handoff should work in your stack.
Faster notes are not the same as a consistent evaluation.
Metaview’s published products capture and summarise conversations that people run, plus sourcing, application review, and fillmore, an agent that runs outreach and books screening calls. The questions in those conversations still depend on who is in the room.
Napplied’s interviewer, Morpheus, asks every candidate for a role questions mapped to the same evaluation criteria, so answers can be compared side by side. The trail records what was asked, what was answered, and what it was evaluated against.
A score with no trail is a trust problem.
Applicants and hiring managers do not share a view of AI in hiring. That gap is measured, and it shows up the moment a candidate asks why they were ranked.
Napplied’s answer is structural: every interaction leaves a reviewable record, so a hiring manager, a candidate, or an auditor can see the basis of the decision.
70% of hiring managers trust AI to help them decide faster or better. Only 8% of job seekers call the outcome fair. Greenhouse surveyed more than 4,100 people. Greenhouse 2025 AI in Hiring Report, 19 Nov 2025
Verified 2026-10-01.Seat pricing and Napplied’s published plans reward different things.
Metaview publishes per-user tiers for Notetaker and Sourcing; its Agentic Recruiting Platform and Enterprise plans are quoted. A licence renews whether this quarter’s roles close or not.
Napplied publishes flexible usage-based or base subscription pricing on /employer/pricing, so the bill follows the hiring plan rather than every user seat. Stack-level totals later on this page are an internal projection where shown. They are not a measured Napplied result.
What you get back
What a Metaview workflow typically returns
Notes, summaries, and highlights from conversations a person ran, plus sourcing shortlists, application-review output, and agent-run outreach and screening-call booking where those products are in use. Confirm current wording on Metaview’s site before you buy.

Where Metaview is stronger
Named-customer outcomes you can read
Deel, emnify, and Workleap have published results on Metaview’s site. Napplied has not published a comparable measured customer result. Read those studies on their own terms.
Deel: about 1.5 million applications a year and 3,000+ hires a year with 70 recruiters, down from about 150. Engineering recruiter calls per hire moved from 18 to 14. Metaview case study, Deel, Aug 2026
Verified 2026-08-15.A free way to start
Published free tiers on notetaking and sourcing let a team try the product without a sales cycle. That is a real advantage for a pilot.

Verified 2026-10-08.Breadth around the human interview
Notes, sourcing, and application review sit next to interviews your team already runs. If that is the bottleneck, Metaview matches it more directly than an AI interviewer does.
Is this you?
- Interviewers take good notes, but two candidates for the same role are still asked different things.
- You cannot explain to a candidate, or an auditor, why one person ranked above another.
- AI and security roles need depth a generic summary does not show, and senior interviewers are scarce.
- Seat licences renew whether you hire this quarter or not.
- Your ATS holds past candidates nobody has time to re-screen.
- Legal or candidates are asking how AI is used in hiring decisions.
Questions buyers ask
Is Napplied an alternative to Metaview?
For the structured interview and ranking stages, yes. For teams that want every interview to stay human-led, Metaview solves a different problem. Some teams can use both: Napplied for early structured rounds, people for the final loop.
How is Napplied different from Metaview?
Metaview accelerates human-run recruiting work: notes, sourcing, application review, and agent-led outreach and scheduling. Napplied runs a structured AI interview against the same criteria for every candidate on a role and leaves a reviewable trail behind the ranking.
How does pricing compare?
Metaview publishes per-user tiers for Notetaker and Sourcing, with free entry points, and quotes its Agentic Recruiting Platform and Enterprise plans (checked October 2026; re-check metaview.ai/pricing). Napplied publishes flexible usage-based or base subscription pricing on /employer/pricing. Any full-stack total on this page is modeled, not measured.
Can Napplied work alongside Metaview?
Napplied is designed to sit inside the stack you already run. A human final loop can still be captured however your team prefers. Ask us about your ATS before you assume a specific integration.
What do the Metaview case studies show?
They are vendor-reported, named-customer results. Deel describes scale with fewer recruiters. emnify describes fewer interviews per hire. Workleap describes screening time reduced by up to 50%. Napplied does not claim to have matched those results.
How we compare
Every page has a section on where the other product is stronger. Cells we have not sourced say “Not confirmed” instead of a convenient no.
A Measured or Published chip means a named third party or the vendor’s own page. A Vendor-reported chip is the vendor’s own claim about its product or customers, which we have not audited. A Custom pricing chip means the vendor does not publish prices. A Buyer-reported chip is not a list price. A Modeled chip is an internal projection, not an independently measured Napplied result.
Napplied does not sell coding tests, proctoring, payroll, or campus recruiting, so those categories are not compared here.
